Each summer for twenty five years, the highlands of North Carolina have rung with the sound of Scottish fiddles at the Jink and Diddle School of Scottish Fiddling in Valle Crucis. This is the 25th anniversary recording of the school’s 70 piece Scottish fiddle orchestra, with selections by the instructors and smaller groups of musicians., including fiddles, violas, kits (pochettes), accordian and on selection on a Stroh fiddle.

Hale Be Your Fiddle

"Hale Be Your Fiddle" is a CD of Scottish Fiddle Music recorded at the 20th Jink & Diddle School of Scottish Fiddling in 2003. The CD was digitally recorded in the historic apple barn at the Valle Crucis Conference Center, and digitally mixed and mastered. In addition to selections performed by the Jink & Diddle School, the "Hale Be Your Fiddle" CD includes solo and small ensemble selections by John Turner, Carmen Pilliteri, Colyn Fischer, Bill Kittrell, Bill Somach, Sara Johnson, Nora Garver, Marijane Wojtowitz, Carol Strozier, and Doug Scott.
