Pre-Historic Dulcimers and The Devonian Origin Theory (DOT)

Devonian Dulcimer Fossils (ca 391,000,000 B.C.)

Our archeological consultant, Professori Fraudio Deceptini, has discovered what he believes to be the first fossil evidence of a Paleozoic hammered dulcimer.

From the geological evidence, Prof. Deceptini dates the fossil to approximately 391,000,000 B.C.E., which suggests that either (a) the first dulcimers were not musical instruments, but aquatic animals living in the seas of the Devonian period; or (b) trilobites were more intelligent and musical than previously thought.

On the assumption that theory (a) is correct, Prof. Deceptini is seeking investors for an aquatic amusement park, to be located of the coast of Isla Jurassica Parca, west of Costa Rica. It will be called "Paleozoic Park".

The park would feature prehistoric marine life made by using fossilized DNA of Devonian sea life, such as Trilobitus trapezoidites dulcimeriformus.
